Oliver Christensen

Oliver Christensen is a second-year MBA student from BYU’s Marriott School of Management. Hailing from Northern Virginia, Oliver is the President of the MBA Student Association and spends considerable time in and out of the classroom working to improve the BYU MBA experience. He interned last summer at Amazon.com, where he will be returning to work after graduation. Oliver received a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from The George Washington University, where he graduated magna cum laude and first in his class in the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences.

Prior to business school Oliver worked for eight years at the washingtonpost.com as a software developer and product manager. Highlights include spending Election Night 2004 in the washingtonpost.com newsroom, leading software development for their single largest line of business, and managing the consumer experience on washingtonpost.com/Jobs.

Oliver is married and has two daughters. His main passion in life – after his family, of course – is food and he believes that the only BBQ worth eating is pork.

Ronell Hugh

Ronell Hugh is a 2nd year MBA student at the Brigham Young University – Marriott School of Management originally from Bad Kreuznach, Germany. Following graduation from business school, Ronell will join Walmart Corporate as Associate Marketing Manager. This past summer he interned with Omniture, an Adobe Company. Prior to returning to obtain his MBA, he spent two years with Hewlett-Packard Company as an account manager where he provided sales and marketing expertise to partners. Ronell began his post-graduate career as the Media Relations Manager for Major League Soccer’s Real Salt Lake. He is married to Briawna and has 2 crazy children, Palmer (4) and Portia (3) and enjoys spending time with them. Ronell’s hobbies included photography, golf, snowboarding, basketball, and soccer.

Paul Winterowd

Paul Winterowd was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah and has two younger sisters. Paul has enjoyed many experiences during his higher education years both in and out of the classroom. He attended Dixie College in St. George, Utah where he played on the golf team. For his second year of competition was named a Junior College All-American, and subsequently accepted a transfer scholarship to the University of Utah. There he completed a degree in Economics while captaining the golf team his senior year.

Following his undergraduate years, Paul has six years of professional sales experience in Business to Business environments. He successfully interned at Symantec Corp in the summer of 2009 as part of his MBA experience. Aside from the academic activities during his BYU MBA experience, Paul has also been involved in organizing service projects, athletic events, and traveling abroad to provide consulting to microfinance recipients
Hobbies and interests include competing in golf tournaments, playing tennis, snowboarding, and travel. Favorite TV show is Arrested Development.

Nate Smith

Nate Smith earned his undergraduate degree at Brigham Young University in Information Systems. He has five years of analytical marketing experience in customer segmentation and persona-based strategy development. Prior to attending graduate business school Nate was the marketing manager for Tecplot, Inc.

David Liddicoat

David Liddicoat is a 2nd year MBA student at Brigham Young University from Perth Australia. After completing his undergraduate degree at the University of Western Australia, he worked for 11 years in Private Wealth Management, the last 6 of those years running his own firm. David interned with Symantec in California and will be returning to work there after graduation. He is married with 4 children, and besides spending time with his family, he loves tennis, golf and spending time at the beach.

Elisa Clements

Elisa Clements is a 2nd year MBA student at Brigham Young University with an emphasis in marketing. She is the editor-in-chief of the MBA newsletter and completed a successful brand management internship at Kimberly-Clark on the HUGGIES® diaper brand last summer. Prior to business school, Elisa spent 6 years working in the nonprofit and political sectors advocating for education reform in Utah. She worked as the executive director of Parents for Choice in Education and was instrumental in passing the nation’s first universal voucher law. She received her bachelors degree from BYU and graduated magna cum laude with honors in English.

Elisa grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area. Her hobbies include dancing, reading, traveling, eating, spending time with her 4 sisters and target shooting.
